Kobe Convention Center
The Kobe Convention Center is APIRA 2013’s choice as the Conference Venue.
Backed by a dedicated team of professionals, The Kobe Convention Center has a Main Hall with seats for 692 people for plenary meetings and the International Conference Room has the capacity for 360 delegates. Both provide a 6-language interpreting system for international audiences. The Reception Hall caters for breaks and meals and 18 smaller meeting rooms are on hand for side-programs and theme sessions, etc.
Kobe University is one of the oldest and largest national universities in Japan. The academic origins of Kobe University trace back to the establishment of Kobe Higher Commercial School in 1902. The university holds a total of about 15,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs.
